Waiting Wednesday

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.
Proverbs 31:8-9
And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me.
Matthew 18:5

I have posted about this little one on facebook before. Her name is Xenia and she is in the same orphanage as Bogdan. I decided to post about her because there was a new blurb put in her RR profile recently. They now have reason to believe that Xenia may have Retinoblastoma.

Xenia M.
Date of Birth: March 2009
Gender: Female
Eyes: Gray
Hair: blond

Xenia has low tone and she really needs a loving family who can get her up out of this crib and moving like she is supposed to be!

We are uncertain whether she has a vision problem or if the camera just caught her eye at the wrong angle. There are concerns that she may have a retinoblastoma, which is an eye cancer that needs medical treatment! We need a family for Xenia quickly!

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia has a lot of experience in treating retinoblastoma. According to the hospital, if treated, there is 95% chance that the child can be cured of the condition. Please see the website for more details . The common onset is 18 months old.

Click on her name to be taken to her sponsership page on Reece's Rainbow. She has $2088.64 in her grant fund.
